My commitment to public service has always been my purpose.

Over my 2 decades fighting for a better San Diego, I’ve championed policies that get to the root of the issues impacting all of us. Our communities continue to face big challenges every day, and I know we can find innovative and tangible solutions to tackle them. As your Assemblymember, I KNOW WE WILL.

ABOUT COLIN

Colin was born and raised in San Diego County. He became Eagle Scout  with Troop 362 in El Cajon, where he developed a dedication to community, teamwork, and service to others. This dedication eventually led to Colin running successfully for the La Mesa City Council in 2016, and again in 2020. Colin wears multiple hats, including his position as the Executive Director of Circulate San Diego, a nonprofit committed to public transit, walkable and safe neighborhoods, and affordable homes. WHY I AM RUNNING

As a Councilmember, I have a clear understanding of the challenges that our communities face. From the housing crisis to homelessness, I’ve championed policies aimed at improving the lives of the people I represent. This commitment to public service has been a constant thread in my life, starting from my days as an Eagle Scout to my current job leading a county-wide non-profit. I have fought to build a better community for the people of the San Diego region.

I’ll let my track record speak for itself:

  • Championed the first 100% affordable development in La Mesa in decades.
  • Saved the La Mesa Farmers Market to help our local economy thrive.
  • Made it easier for homeowners to invest in their properties and build equity.
  • Expanded our homeless outreach teams to help those in need.
  • Led a campaign to transform empty transit agency parking lots into affordable homes.
  • Prioritized investments for road repair and safer streets.

Now, I am running for State Assembly to take this work to Sacramento, where we can find real solutions and create a bigger impact by tackling our most pressing challenges.
